Within The Design Center of the Carolinas, we have three event venues including The Design Center Atrium, The Design Center Courtyard, & Byron's South End.
The Design Center Atrium
The Design Center Atrium is a great venue for large hors d'oevres style receptions and can accomodate up to 400 people comfortably. With it's two-story open architecture it allows for guests to flow easily around the upper level while remaining connected to all of the action below. Just like Byron's South End, the Atrium is exclusively catered by Best Impressions Caterers and can be reserved by contacting our event staff at 704.333.9744.
For those clients who book their wedding reception at Byron's South End, the Atrium may be available for your ceremony as well. If interested please inquire with our staff.
The Design Center Courtyard
The Courtyard is perfect for cocktail hours and is available for rent after normal business hours as an addition to Byron's South End. If you are interested in more details please contact our sales team.
Byron's South End
Byron’s South End, the newest division of Best Impressions Caterers, is a 4,700 square-foot banquet facility. Byron's is located in the beautifully restored Nebel Knitting Mill within The Design Center of the Carolinas in Historic South End, just south of uptown. With a lavishly landscaped courtyard and the reception hall’s eclectic decor, it makes the perfect location for corporate events, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. It is also on the trolley line with easy access to the uptown hotels and entertainment district.
