About Us
Best Impressions, Inc. is a Charlotte, NC catering firm founded in 1989 and operates with three distinct catering divisions: Best Impressions Caterers, The Grill & Picnic Company and Byron's South End. Best Impressions Caterers provides culinary services for a wide range of discriminated corporate, philanthropic, and social events; while The Grill & Picnic Company is designed to handle large-scale company picnics, back yard gatherings, and social events on a more casual basis. Byron's South End is our 4,700 square foot banquet facility located in The Design Center of the Carolinas in Historic South End.

We used Best Impressions for our catering as well as all of our rentals. They were absolutely phenomenal! The food was to die for (you have GOT to try those crab cakes!) and they had so many options - we were really able to make our menu unique and fit perfectly with the 'vibe' of our wedding. Donald really worked with us on finding the perfect mix of things for our menu and gave us lots of suggestions when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. All of the rentals (tables, chairs, linens, etc.) were beautiful and the set up was done perfectly. We ended up having to add additional tables and other items, and changing our menu numbers at the last minute, but Donald worked with us and our planner every step of the way and made sure everything was perfect. All of the staff that worked our wedding were absolutely amazing - completely professional, polite and helpful. I had several of our wedding guests mention to us that night how amazing all of the staff were - that really meant a lot to me because we had a small wedding and really wanted all of our family and close friends to have a good time. They made sure that the wedding party had drinks and snacks before the reception and all throughout it they made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. Everything and everyone involved from Best Impressions was simply amazing in every aspect possible!
